Jr Finance Officer

About the Job
Location: You must live within 30 minutes of our Angeles City office or be willing to relocate to Angeles City during your employment. Employees are expected to remain within the 30-minute zone.

As a Junior Finance Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of the business and ensuring smooth communication with our customers and suppliers. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will work closely with department managers to help maintain a professional and supportive environment for both internal and external stakeholders.

Role Objectives:
  • Ensure that the accounts department operates efficiently.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient financial management.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Confidently engage with stakeholders both face-to-face and over the phone, maintaining a professional and approachable manner.
  • Handle all accounts payable and receivable transactions, including receipting incoming payments, following up on overdue accounts, and performing bank reconciliations.
  • Process weekly and monthly payments to suppliers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assist with end-to-end payroll processing to guarantee timely and accurate employee payments.
  • Compile financial reports, maintain databases, and process new account applications.
  • Liaise with customers to address routine requests and provide support as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with HR-related government requirements, including SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG contributions.
  • Liaise with our Retainer for the preparation of BIR reports for monthly, quarterly, and yearly compliance, and ensure submission in a timely manner.
  • Perform other related duties as directed from time to time by the Employer.
  • You will also be responsible for meeting daily KPIs and assisting with account enquiries. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager 
  • •ou will work closely with the Customer Service, Production, and Purchasing teams to help maintain a professional and supportive environment for both internal and external stakeholders.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting or Commerce.
  • Must have at least three (3) or more years' experience as a Jr Finance Officer (AP and/or AR) in a fast-paced environment working to critical deadlines.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues across departments.
  •  Must have excellent English written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work within a multicultural team environment.
  • Must have competent computer skills, including use of MS Office. Intermediate level of Excel skills.
  • Possess logical reasoning and be a critical thinker.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Support & encourage a culture of safety and awareness.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
